Senna chapmanii (Isely) A. Barreto & Yakovlev. Common name: Bahama Senna, Chapman’s Senna. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Pine rocklands, rockland hammocks, dunes. Distribution: S. peninsular FL; Bahamas; Cuba.
Origin/Endemic status: Native
Taxonomy Comments: While sometimes treated at varietal rank as part of a complex of West Indian taxa, S. chapmanii appears to be a good biological species.
