Corydalis montana Engelmann ex A. Gray. Western Corydalis. Phen: May-Jun. Hab: Bluffs, prairies, dry woodlands, disturbed areas. Dist: SD, WY, UT, and NV south to OK, TX, NM, AZ, and Mexico; disjunct eastwards in MO and n. IL.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: This taxon and C. aurea s.s. have variously been treated at the rank of species, subspecies, and variety; they probably warrant species rank.
