Cissampelos pareira Linnaeus. Common name: Velvety Cissampelos, Pareira Brava. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Rockland hammocks. Distribution: S. peninsular FL; West Indies; Mexico, Central America, and South America; Old World tropics and subtropics.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = Fl2, FNA3, K4, Mex, NS, POWO, S, WH3, Rhodes (1975). Basionym: Cissampelos pareira L. 1753
