not marked as a favorite taxon Epipactis gigantea Douglas ex W.J. Hooker. Common name: Giant Helleborine. Phenology: Mar-Aug. Habitat: Wooded streambanks, limestone seepages and springs. Distribution: South Dakota, Montana and British Columbia south to e. Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, and Mexico.
