Chloris texensis Nash. Common name: Texas Windmill-grass. Phenology: Oct-Nov. Habitat: Coastal prairies, in relatively bare areas in coastal prairie grassland remnants on sandy to sandy loam soils (Carr 2011). Distribution: Endemic to se. TX.
