Echinochloa polystachya (Kunth) A.S. Hitchcock. Common name: Aleman Grass, Creeping River Grass. Phenology: Mar-Oct. Habitat: Marshes, wet disturbed areas. Distribution: Sw. LA and TX south through Mexico to South America; West Indies; s. FL (where of uncertain nativity).
