not marked as a favorite taxon Pleopeltis astrolepis (Liebmann) E. Fournier. Common name: Star-scaled Polypody. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Sloughs, epiphytic on Pond Apple (Annona glabra). Distribution: S. FL (Broward County; apparently extirpated); West Indies; Mexico, Central America, and South America.
