Heteranthera mexicana S. Watson. Common name: Mexican Mud-Plantain. Phenology: Jun-Aug. Habitat: In ditches and ponds, apparently ephemeral in appearance depending on rainfall. Distribution: N. and s. TX south into Mexico.
