Colubrina elliptica (Swartz) Brizicky & W.L. Stern. Common name: Nakedwood, Soldierwood, Smooth Snakebark. Phenology: Sep-Feb. Habitat: Rockland hammocks, disturbed uplands. Distribution: S. FL; West Indies; Mexico through Central America to n. South America (Venezuela).

Origin/Endemic status: Native
