not marked as a favorite taxon Turnera ulmifolia Linnaeus var. ulmifolia. Common name: Yellow-Alder, Marilope, Ramgoat-dashalong, Catbush. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Disturbed upland areas. Distribution: Native of Mexico, Central America, and West Indies. A record from Key West in 1896 suggests the plausible native status in s. Florida.
