*Muscari comosum (Linnaeus) P. Miller. Subgenus: Leopoldia. Common name: Tassel Grape-hyacinth. Phenology: Mar-Apr; May-Jun. Habitat: Cultivated as an ornamental, persistent and naturalized in lawns, old fields, suburban woodlands, and disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of Europe.

Origin/Endemic status: Mediterranean Europe and Africa

Synonymy : = C, F, FNA26, G, Il, K4, Mo1, NS, POWO, Tn, Stace (2010); = Leopoldia comosa (L.) Parl.; = n/a — Pa, RAB. Basionym: Hyacinthus comosus L. 1753
