Sesuvium verrucosum Rafinesque. Common name: Western Sea-Purslane. Phenology: Apr-Aug. Habitat: Salt flats, beaches, saline marshes. Distribution: S. MS west through TX to CA, south to s. Mexico.

Taxonomy Comments: POWO (2024) alleges that the correct name for this taxon is Sesuvium revolutifolium Ortega, which indeed would have priority, but the type is from Cuba, where POWO (2024) and other sources do not record S. verrucosum.
