*Sesuvium crithmoides Welwitsch. Common name: Tropical Sea-Purslane. Habitat: Disturbed area, presumably a waif. Distribution: Native of Africa (Angola). Reported for GA by Small (1933) and Boetsch (2002) based on collections in Brunswick, GA in 1902 by Roland Harper.

Origin/Endemic status: Subsaharan Africa

Synonymy : = FNA4, K4, NS, POWO, S, Boetsch (2002), Bohley, Winter, & Kadereit (2017). Basionym: Sesuvium crithmoides Welw. 1859
