Sagittaria papillosa Buchenau. Common name: Nipple-bract Arrowhead. Phenology: Mar-Nov. Habitat: Bogs, swamps, ditches, depressions. Distribution: C. AR and se. OK south to s. LA and c. TX; rarely disjunct east of the Mississippi in se. LA and s. MS, and ec. NC (Johnston County; P.D. McMillan, pers.comm., 2024).
