not marked as a favorite taxon Froelichia gracilis (Hooker) Moquin-Tandon. Common name: Slender Cottonweed. Phenology: Jun-Oct. Habitat: Dry soils; eastwards adventive in vacant lots, sandy fields, railroad banks. Distribution: Native of mw. United States and n. Mexico (CHH, COA, NLE, SON, TAM), the eastern limit of its native distribution uncertain.
