not marked as a favorite taxon *Gomphrena globosa Linnaeus. Common name: Globe-amaranth. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of s. Asia. Introduced and known from scattered locations in s. PA (Rhoads & Klein 1993). Also reported for VA (Kartesz 1999) and MD (Reed1961b).
