not marked as a favorite taxon Iresine diffusa Humboldt & Bonpland ex Willdenow. Common name: Judas-bush. Habitat: Hammocks, disturbed areas. Distribution: Ne. FL, Panhandle FL, south to s. FL. Reported for NC by Small (1933), so far as is known in error.
