*Aralia elata (Miquel) Seemann. Common name: Japanese Angelica-tree. Phenology: Late Jul-Sep; Aug-Sep. Habitat: Suburban woodlands. Distribution: Native of Japan. Naturalizing in ne. North America at least as far south as NJ, DE, se. PA, MD, DC, and n. VA.
