*Kalopanax septemlobus (Thunberg) Koidzumi. Common name: Castor Aralia. Phenology: Jul-early Aug; Aug-early Sep. Habitat: Disturbed, suburban areas. Distribution: Native of e. Asia. Introduced in ne. United States, apparently naturalizing in s. MD and n. VA (Fort Belvoir, Fairfax County) (E. Wells, pers. comm., 2006).
