Artemisia filifolia Torrey. Subgenus: Tridentatae. Common name: Silver Sagebush. Phenology: Jun-Sep. Habitat: Dry prairies and dunes, especially in sandy soils. Distribution: SD, WY, and NV south to c. OK, c. TX, NM, AZ, and n. Mexico (CHH, COA, DGO, TAM).

Origin/Endemic status: Native
