*Artemisia pontica Linnaeus. Subgenus: Ponticae. Common name: Roman Wormwood, Green-ginger. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Disturbed areas, old fields, woodland edges, roadsides, ditches. Distribution: Native of Europe. Naturalized at least as far south as DE, se. PA (Rhoads & Klein 1993), and KY.
