plant sale text: Savanna honeycombhead is a native herbaceous perennial that is not often available in the nursery trade. It occurs in wet pine savannas, pitcher plant bogs, wet roadside ditches, and on seepage slopes in the southeastern Coastal Plain. Solitary yellow daisy-like flowers appear in the summer through fall atop tall, slender but erect stems. Savanna honeycombhead prefers moist to wet soil in full sun and would be a perfect addition to a sunny bog garden.
