Ageratina roanensis (Small) E.E. Lamont. Common name: Appalachian White Snakeroot, Appalachian Milk-poison. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Moist forests, often abundant at high elevations. Distribution: Endemic to moderate to high elevations of the Southern Appalachians, from w. VA south to w. SC, n. GA, e. TN, e. KY, and possibly ne. AL.
