*Centaurea phrygia Linnaeus. Common name: Wig Knapweed. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Disturbed areas, persistent or spread from seed mixes. Distribution: Native of Europe. Reported for GA Piedmont in Zomlefer et al. (2018). Reported for VA in FNA.
