Chaetopappa asteroides (Nuttall) A.P. de Candolle. Common name: Tiny Lazy-daisy. Phenology: Apr-Jun (-Sep). Habitat: Sandy open areas, Catahoula barrens; eastwards in waste areas near wool-combing mills. Distribution: MO and se. KS south to w. LA, s. TX, and Mexico; reported for SC by Nesom (2004d).
