*Chevreulia acuminata Lessing. Common name: Sharp-leaved Skyseed. Habitat: Lawns, other mowed grassy areas. Distribution: Native of South America. Well-established in SC and spreading rapidly (K. Bradley, pers.comm. 2022). Reported for NC Coastal Plain (Krings, Banks, & Glasgow 2024) and in social media for NC Piedmont (Mecklenburg County) in 2023.

Origin/Endemic status: South America
