Anacis delphiniifolia (Lamarck) Z.H. Feng, Z.J. Huang, & Su Liu. Common name: Larkspur Coreopsis. Phenology: May-Jul. Habitat: Dry woodlands. Distribution: The species ranges from e. VA and s. NC south to c. GA, and se. TN (Polk County) (Chester, Wofford, & Kral 1997), and reputedly AL.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Smith (1976) indicated that the species is an allopolyploid derivative (at 4×, 6×, and 8×) of Coreopsis major, Coreopsis tripteris, and Coreopsis verticillata. Its range extends south well beyond the range of Coreopsis verticillata.
