Ambrosia hispida Pursh. Common name: Coastal Ragweed. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Beaches, dunes, and less commonly inland in hammocks. Distribution: Peninsular FL; West Indies; s. Mexico (ROO, VER, YUC) and Central America.
