not marked as a favorite taxon Brickellia grandiflora (W.J. Hooker) Nuttall. Common name: Tassel-flower Brickellia. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Glades, ledges, and rocky woodlands over calcareous rocks. Distribution: W. Nebraska, Montana, Alberta, and British Columbia south to w. Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, and Mexico (Baja California, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Jalisco, Nuevo León, Sonora, Tamaulipas); disjunct in Missouri, n. Arkansas, and c. Oklahoma.
