Chrysoma Nuttall. Common name: Woody Goldenrod.
A monotypic genus, a shrub, of se. North America. Chrysoma has sometimes been treated as a component within Solidago, but its many morphological peculiarities and phylogenetic position as sister to Solidago argue for genus rank (see Semple & Beck 2023).
