not marked as a favorite taxon Iodanthus pinnatifidus (Michaux) Steudel. Common name: Purple Rocket. Phenology: May-Jun. Habitat: Rich forests of bottomlands and lower slopes, bottomland fields. Distribution: W. Pennsylvania west to Minnesota and Iowa, south through West Virginia and e. and c. Tennessee to Alabama and e. and se. Texas.
