not marked as a favorite taxon *Matthiola incana (Linnaeus) R. Brown. Common name: Hoary Stock, Gilliflower, Ten-weeks Stock. Phenology: Jun-Aug. Habitat: Disturbed dunes, sandy fields, vacant lots. Distribution: Native of Europe. Reported for the Buxton area, Dare County, NC, by Burk (1961).
