Tomostima reptans (Lamarck) Al-Shehbaz, M. Koch, & Jordon-Thaden. Common name: Carolina Draba. Phenology: Feb-Mar; Mar-Apr. Habitat: Dry soil. Distribution: MA and ON west to WA, south to NC, GA, TX and CA. The few occurrences in the eastern part of our area seem to make little ecological or phytogeographic sense; they may represent introductions. The first collection in our area was, however, by Walter.
