not marked as a favorite taxon Cardamine dentata Schultes. Common name: American Cuckoo-flower, Lady's-smock, White Cuckoo-flower. Phenology: Apr-Jul. Habitat: Seeps, bogs, and swamps. Distribution: NS and QC west to MB, south to NJ, VA, and OH.

Taxonomy Comments: The Eurasian C. pratensis, with pink (vs. white) flowers, is introduced in ne. North America. These two taxa are not always regarded as separable (see synonymy).
