Stems: Stem a flowering stalk with reduced leaves, branched from base, hairy in the lower half and smooth in upper half.

Leaves: Basal leaves to 1½ in. long, oval to spoon-shaped with a few shallow teeth; the few alternate stem leaves are not toothed.

Inforescence:

Flowers: Flowers in a dense terminal raceme that becomes more open as it elongates, white, ¼ in. wide and consisting of 4 tiny rounded petals.

Fruits: Fruit and erect, smooth, linear green pod.
