*Tradescantia zebrina Bosse. Common name: Zebra Plant, "Wandering Jew", Creeping Charlie. Phenology: Sep-Feb. Habitat: Hammocks, disturbed areas; suburban woodlands. Distribution: Native of tropical America.

Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics
