*Carex flacca Schreber. Common name: Glaucous Creeping Sedge. Phenology: Jul. Habitat: Depression in successional woodlands. Distribution: Native of Europe. Reported for Portage County, OH (Riley, Vincent, & Widrlechner 2020).
Origin/Endemic status: Europe
Taxonomy Comments: POWO (2024) recognizes two subspecies, with only ssp. flacca known to be introduced in North America.
