Carex lacustris Willdenow. Common name: Lakeshore Sedge, Lakeside Sedge. Phenology: May-Sep. Habitat: Calcareous spring marshes, freshwater to oligohaline tidal marshes. Distribution: QC west to SK, south to e. VA, w. VA, and NE. Rejected from the TN flora (Tennessee Flora Committee 2015).
