Carex oblita Steudel. Common name: Southern Dark Green Sedge. Habitat: Bogs, seeps, sphagnous swamps. and other wet habitats. Distribution: NY (Long Island) and NJ south to sc. GA, west to w. LA, mostly on the Coastal Plain, but extending much less commonly inland to the Piedmont and Mountains.
