Carex sangamonensis (Clokey) Mohlenbrock. Common name: Midwestern Blunt Broom Sedge, Sangamon Sedge. Phenology: May-Jun. Habitat: Bottomland forests, marshes. Distribution: OH, IL, and KS, south to SC, AL, LA, and TX.
