Carex sparganioides Muhlenberg ex Willdenow. Common name: Bur-reed sedge. Phenology: May-Jun. Habitat: Dry to moist, usually nutrient-rich forests. Distribution: ME, ON, MN, and SD south to GA, AR, and KS. Records entangled with C. aggregata.
