Huperzia ×buttersii (Abbe) Kartesz & Gandhi. Common name: Butters's Firmoss. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Shale banks. Distribution: Known from Scioto County, OH, in large numbers, growing with smaller numbers of H. selago. Expected to occur in the overlap regions of its parents.
