*Crocus tommasinianus Herbert. Common name: Woodland Crocus, Early Crocus. Habitat: Disturbed areas, long-persistent after cultivation around house-sites. Distribution: Native of se. Europe. Reported as rarely naturalizing in DE (McAvoy & Bennett 2001); reported as rarely naturalizing in VA (Alexandria) (Wright et al. 2023).
