*Gladiolus dalenii Van Geel ssp. dalenii. Common name: Dragon's-head-lily, Parrot Gladiolus, African Gladiolus. Phenology: Mar-Jul. Habitat: Sometimes cultivated, rarely persisting or spreading. Distribution: Native of s. Africa. Persisting and/or naturalizing at scattered locations in the se. United States (Zomlefer et al. 2018).
