Isoetes echinospora Durieu. Common name: Spiny-spore Quillwort. Habitat: In acid lakes, ponds, and rivers (submerged to emersed), tidal mud flats. Distribution: Circumboreal, in North America from Greenland, NL (Labrador), and AK south to DE, n. OH, MI, WI, CO, and CA.
