Isoetes mattaponica L.J. Musselman & W.C. Taylor. Common name: Mattaponi River Quillwort. Habitat: Tidal rivers. Distribution: Apparently endemic to freshwater tidal marshes along rivers flowing into the Chesapeake Bay (such as the Chickahominy, Pamunkey, and Mappaponi).
