not marked as a favorite taxon Pycnanthemum curvipes (Greene) E. Grant & Epling. Common name: Tennessee Mountain-mint, Stone Mountain Mountain-mint. Phenology: Jun-Aug. Habitat: Dry rocky woodlands and rock outcrops (granite or mafic). Distribution: Sw. NC and se. TN south to nc. GA and n. AL; disjunct in nc. TN (Chester, Wofford, & Kral 1997) and wc. KY (where found in 2022 in Muhlenberg and Butler counties, KY by Vanessa Voelker).
