*Tulipa sylvestris Linnaeus. Common name: Tulip, Dutch-lily. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Very commonly cultivated, occasionally persistent or weakly naturalized. Distribution: Native of w. Asia. "Occasionally naturalized in moist meadows, fields and roadsides" in se. PA (Rhoads & Block 2007) and MD (Kartesz 1999).
