Hibiscus martianus Zuccarini. Common name: Heartleaf Hibiscus, Tulipán del Monte, Mountain Rosemallow. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Thornscrub and open woodlands. Distribution: S. TX to w. TX, south to c. Mexico.
