Sphaeralcea hastulata A. Gray. Common name: Spear Globemallow. Phenology: Apr-May (-Oct) Habitat: Plains, grasslands or shrublands, especially in caliche, saline, or gyp areas. Distribution: TX, NM, and AZ south to Mexico.
